•The Community Climate Action Fund launched on the 6th December 2023 and closed on the 27th February, 2024.
•There was huge interest in the fund and this was evident by the value of projects seeking funding in Tipperary.
•The fund allocated by the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications to Tipperary was €700,000 which means that we are oversubscribed.
•It also shows that there is huge interest from community groups across Tipperary to increase capacity for building low carbon communities which is hugely positive.
•The next stage in the process is the assessment of applications. The details of approved applications will be issued in early August 2024.
